Oh, holy hell YES. I was so pleased that she was the one to notice Sherlock's sadness over what was going to happen soon.
And that even works in character for everyone, because Molly watches Sherlock enough to know when he's sad where as everyone else doesn't expect Sherlock to have emotions like sadness and just assume he's being his usual apathetic self. It's like the one area where being the girl who totally believes he's capable of MORE!! is actually useful.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we won't have to wait another 18 months for series 3, although Mark Gatiss' tweet doesn't exactly bolster me with hope.
I always think I should join Twitter to follow people I like, but I just can't bring myself to do it. My lack of Twitter and Facebook is a source of pride for me.
I'm not surprised if they'll be another gap, what with both Martin and Benedict in the Hobbit movies and Benedict also in every other play, movie, television show and radio production going on.
Hey! My theory that Sherlock drove in Hound because Martin can't drive is confirmed by Mark Gatiss. That's the only reason I could think of that Sherlock was driving. Twitter: At least It's Useful For Something
