Hope everyone on my flist in the path of Sandy is safe and warm and dry! We had the tail end of her last night up here, massive amount of blowing, but nothing compared to what the full force is like.

I'm hanging in there. I spent a few days at a friend's house, which I think was sorely needed. I sat out on their porch on Halloween and handed out candy in the frigid cold to what seemed like hundreds of happy kids. It was a great experience!
