It would be during these "We will kill you unless you hack into the system for us!" moments with villains that Q would be grateful his entire childhood was basically one long game of whether or not Sherlock would kill him in the name of science. Nothing fazes him now.

Ha! Plus all the skills he developed--holding his breath for ages, hiding really well, digging holes, digging himself out of holes, climbing trees and through windows.

"It's basically your fault I ended up a spy, Sherlock, you gave me all the training I needed."
