If somehow a fic could be transformed into a blanket or a teddy bear, I would do it with this one so I could squeeze it to my heart. That's a weird image and I don't even care.
"Get up, we're getting engaged," he said. "We'll go to Hatton Garden and get you a ring.”
She blinked up at him, and smiled. "Excellent," she said.
"I only have an hour," he warned.
"That's fine," she said. "I already have a ring picked out."
HAHAHA! I love Mummy Holmes!
As always your standout bits involve kids. I LOVE how in character Sherlock is and still very much a child (cognitively since adult!Sherlock is also like a child mostly).
"I don't like that it has an E there," he announced. "It's stupid."
In a fic of perfect lines, this might be the most perfect one.
I also really enjoyed your portrayal of Siger and his thoughts on fatherhood. It manages to be slightly cold but never lacking in love.
Oh, and the names! The names are perfection! You truly are the Naming Guru.
I'm quite overjoyed that our chats turned up this marvelous fluffy fic!
