I had a good time making the brothers a bit more brotherly, both to include the new found love between Sherlock and Mycroft on the show, and using the opportunity of Q and Sherlock believing its the last time they are going to see one another, so nothing needs to be hidden away. I've been trying to nudge my Trio brothers to a more healthy place.

I have to confess to being quite fond of that running joke myself. One thing I suspect Sherlock would actually be as an older brother is seriously incapable of letting anything like that go while it stills strikes a nerve. Especially if he can use it to be both annoying and affectionate at the same time.
