That's interesting. I think all caps are aggressive, because they denote yelling and I don't like it when people yell. Generally, my characters are only ever written as yelling when they are really at the end of their rope. Harry, for example, yells a lot in Somnus because he's so tired all the time.

I agree, I don't often see bold being used for more than a couple of words in a row. Maybe because it draws the eye too much to that phrase? Like, if you saw a whole section in bold, that's where you would likely read first, I think.
