This was the child who needed to change his whole outfit if one speck of dirt appeared anywhere on it, and who arranged his peas in perfect lines on his plate while refusing to eat them.

I love and completely believe this detail that Mycroft was so conscientious and detail-oriented even from such a young age. Not going to lie, it is adorable and such a treat to see him this young and making little grammar mistakes and explaining that an M is two sticks holding hands.

The yelling had been quite out of order, but the moment he grabbed Dora's arm, there was no question of apathy. He felt loathing Hollander was an excellent use of energy and well worth the effort.

This is wonderful. I adore it when Siger shows the depth of his feelings and protectiveness for those he loves, those not in the “indifferent” category. :) Like this one:

“Of course,” Siger said. “You are the only people in the world I like.”

*squee*!!!

Loved this a lot. It’s refreshing to be reminded in this way that Mycroft and Siger are just human too. :)
