I had a bit of a fic once where Steve is trying to talk with JARVIS and is never sure if he's supposed thank him or not.

I'm sure Jarvis would appreciate it. Or at least say he does. Tony would probably tell Steve not to spoil Jarvis with all these 'thank yous' and 'I appreciate its'
