I was writing a mostly fluffy story of Issie and Shess exploring modern day stuff together but then it got sad. Because I can't do cute animals without making them frown a little.

Maybe we should swap, and you can write my angst and I'll write your fluff and we'll both be happy doing what we do best.

Mim isn't being very cooperative in my running away fic. She's being logical before I want her to start being logical. She went from 'yay for adventure!' to 'dude, you don't even know what you're doing' sooner than I wanted her to do it. I hate when characters do the opposite of what I want. I can't even argue with her. She's right.
