Wow, that was a fast response! Thank you, you've saved me much anxiety. I've never written sad families before, I wasn't sure if was doing it right. I'm glad it worked for you!

Yeah, Howard did his best, and I'm kind of glad it wasn't that helpful, because I really had to steer it away from being a good moment between them. Hence Peggy's phone call. If I hadn't interrupted, I think they might have bonded a little and that's when I had to think of sad things. It was also really hard for me to only make Tony's school days slightly improved and not okay. It was a good exercise in stepping out of my comfort zone, overall.

I like the relationship you gave Jarvis and Tony. Between Jarvis and Howard, it's really to Jarvis that Tony would feel bad about worrying which was incredibly sweet.

I sort of have a mental image that Jarvis is freaking the fuck out and making frantic phone calls anytime he's not onscreen. I think the love is mutual, though Jarvis does his best to keep his distance for both his and Tony's sakes.
