Random Questions

A handful questions I'm going to lump together for anyone and everyone to offer their two cents (or more) on.

1. What colour are John Sheppard's/Joe Flanigan's eyes (dark blue? dark green? brown? Bluey-greeny-brown?)?

2. If you were book!Murphy and you were going to get book!Harry a birthday present, what might it be? (Post-White Nights timeframe, if that helps)

3. In Canada, we have Tim Horton's, which is a massive chain of donut shops (you may have noticed the Tim Horton's mug in Dr. McKay's room on Atlantis). When my family would go on long car trips, we'd stop at one to pick up a dozen donuts and coffee for the road. I don't think there are Tim Horton's in the 'States, so where might an American go to stock up on road donuts?

4. What is the correct grammar to indicate something belonging to both you and someone else? Ex. Taylor and mine, me and Taylor's, Taylor and I's

First things first (#3)- donuts, there are tim horton's in the states See Here. Other choices for chains are Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme or (in the south) Shipley's. All websites should be googable if you need a store in a certain state.
#2- Harry usually buys Bob porn, doesn't he? I'm pretty sure its mentioned in several books. He'll also let Bob 'out' for the night upon occassion.
#1- in fanfic I've usually seen Shep's eyes described as green, can't help you more than that
#4- no idea. grammar hates me with a passion

I totally read #2 wrong (donuts threw my mind off track.. yeah, we'll go with that excuse). That's a bunch harder a question. Murphy would get Harry something sensible, like food or beer or even something a bit silly like a roll of quarters so he can call her from a payphone the next times he's in a jam. But in no way would she make a big deal about it, any gift would probably come with a 'and if you get mushy on me I'll break your legs' sort of warning.

I knew I could count on you for the donut info ;-). I thought Shep's eyes were greenish, but Atlantis uses a lot of blue lighting and it sort of throws off colours sometimes. Thanks for the gift ideas. I agree: nothing mushy or overtly affectionate. I got stuck on her for some reason. All the other characters' gifts jumped right to mind, but Murphy was stubborn. I don't think I understand book!Murphy as well as tv!Murphy. Thanks for your help!

something to remember is book!Murph introduced Harry to her family (even brought him to the family picnic) that's big in her book. He does mean something to her, even if she can't admit it.
