what's their favourite item of clothing/jewelry: Tony has an extensive collection of heavy metal concert t-shirts which, whenever Pepper suggests it might be time to get rid of one of them, Tony will insist that's his favourite one and it's fine, put it down right now or he will start throwing out her Manolo Blahniks one left shoe at a time.
He also was left a pair of cufflinks in Jarvis' will, which Mim always picks out for him to wear any time she feels like he's doing something Jarvis would be proud of him for doing.

what do they do when they can't sleep: Build stuff, mostly, and blast music really loud. J.A.R.V.I.S subtly lowers the volume of the music as he monitors Tony's brainwaves to see how sleepy he is, so it doesn't get him wound up again. If it's really, really bad insomnia, like, 'I haven't slept in 72 hours and Mim keeps flying into walls' insomnia, Tony and Mim usually put themselves on the couch in front of an old musical and watch that until they fall asleep. Or he has sex with Pepper. You know, one or the other.
what would they impulse buy at the grocery store: Tony and Mim have been to grocery stores only a handful of times in their lives, and on nearly all of those occasions emerged with several boxes of Count Chocula, and a case of Yoo-Hoo. They might have been drunk on three of those occasions, and one on of those occasions, they actually just waited in the car while Happy and Dori went in and bought it for them.
what kind of comments did they get on their school report cards: Most of Tony's report cards were written with an air of a person who had no fucking clue what to do with him, but was trying to be polite because Howard Stark was paying them a lot of money. There were a lot of comments of how bright Tony was, and how interesting his ideas were, and gentle suggestions that he might find better uses of his time, but since he always got his work in and it was always incredibly correct, there were few complaints that could be made.
what’s their coffee order: Tony likes to challenge Pepper by coming up with the most specific order he can think of and seeing if she can get it right. Pepper has made a rule that he has to drink the complete cup of whatever he's ordered. Which he has, successfully, each time. Though, after that one with the quadruple shot of espresso in it, Mim has put a cap on the amount of caffeine. If it feels like you're going to die, that's, like, probably too much.
what sort of apps would they have on their smartphone: Tony's StarkPhone doesn't so much have apps as it has J.A.R.V.I.S, who does everything he wants him to do and eliminates the need for any other apps. Except for Angry Birds.
how do they act around children: Generally, Tony devolves to the age of the child he's interacting with, with a hint of 'no, one of us has to be mature here'. He talks to kids like kids, but treats them like short human adults. He's not necessarily good with kids, but he's not bad, either. The little daemons who want to meet Iron Man's daemon are always pretty impressed by Mim, who will strike heroic poses and play pretend and generally be very friendly and fun.
what would they watch on tv when they’re bored and nothing they really like is on: Tony and Mim play 'remote control roulette', where one of them holds down the channel changer button and then lets it go, and they have to watch whatever it lands on. Except the home shopping channel, because J.A.R.V.I.S blocks that now. They don't need any more Slap Chops.
