I have a headcanon that Steve was in the Tower when Nora called to tell him about JJ's hearing test results, and Steve heads into a spiral of guilt, while Tony cuts him off at the pass.
Tony: It's okay. I'll just fix him with science. Look, I've already designed a baby hearing aid while you were talking about what a horrible person you are. It has stars on it. I'll put some stripes on, too. It's going to be epic. Steve: He's only two weeks old. Tony: Yes, and he's going to be a tiny little badass, don't even worry.
I imagine Bucky, despite his overprotectiveness is pretty good when dealing with Winnie being sick or injured because he's gone through it a lot with Steve.
That makes sense, too. There can't be anything Winnie gets that Steve didn't have. He'd have her diagnosed before they reached the doctor.
Winnie: But I don't feeeeeeeeel weeeeelll! Bucky: You have strep throat. They can treat that with antibiotics now. Your Uncle Steve had Scarlet Fever because his strep turned into that. Be grateful. Also, here's a Popsicle.
