I really appreciate you giving us these gems so I don't have to sit through the game itself because I have no time whatsoever.
It actually might be a good game for you. There's a not of waiting around.
I kind of want this game or something similar to exist in the SuperKids verse, though. Just because I can see JJ playing it, and Steve frowning each time game!him says something cliche.
Steve: What are you doing? JJ: I have to collect 30 textbooks and 35 medals to recruit you to the school. Steve: So, I'm just standing there doing jumping jacks and pushups while I'm waiting for you to recruit me? JJ: Yep. I got your shield back for you, though. Steve: Uh, thanks.
This season I've had some moments where I frowned but not in a "why is this show sucking?" kind of way but more in a "I don't know how I feel about this. Give me a minute" sort of way.
It's amazing to me how much devotion they've put into character development and building the universe-to-come for a show that should be an action adventure series. All the scenes with Jarvis and Ana in the hospital didn't need to happen. They didn't advance the main plot. But they developed the characters and the relationships, and were some of my favourites. Jarvis trying to get the radio to work, and telling her she's perfect, and guh. And paralleled oddly by Frost and Manfredi's relationship, which despite them both being bad people, is, like, really kind of stable and healthier than a lot of relationships we see on most shows.
I mean, yes, I've had some frowny moments of disapproval at character's actions and words, but not, as you said, because they were badly written, just because I didn't agree with them.

I just...like, really love this show.
