If omicron isn't your dominant variant, what is? BA.5 is the dominant one in my state, and that's a variety of omicron; I thought it was pretty dominant in North America. We still mask most of the time, though we do occasionally eat around people indoors. I'll unmask just for that and then remark. I think people think I'm weird, but didn't they already? So far—touch wood—so good.

It's really hard when family are down on themselves for something out of control like illness. You can tell them it's not their fault, but they already know that, and it doesn't help a lot. I hope she feels better soon.
