You know, I thought I read somewhere that Terry hadn't been cast when the pilot was shot and that's why there's no Bob, but it was definitely Terry's voice in the uncut version, so I was confuzzled. The eye lights remind me of the Firefly lit-up effect when the ship is going to hyperburn. Kind of streaky and yellowy and sparkly. Perhaps that's left over from the fire spirit concept.
