Hee! Oh, clever concept here! I like the faerie's motivation and behavior; their psychology's so simple and naive to things like death that it's very alien in a believable way. I love Murphy's wonderment (and just plain incredulity) at them. She's such an experienced cop (weary of the stakeouts and all), but all this stuff is new to her. She let them have one of his names! Heh. That's what he gets for keeping her in the dark about magical rules. He needs to make her a simple list of things Not To Do or something.
