There's a scene in Ordinary People where Timothy Hutton's character is talking about what it's like to be depressed (something about being down a dark hole and not being able to get out) and it was almost word for word how I had explained it myself to my mother. I was bawling.

I never finished In Bruges. As much as I love Colin Farrell and Ralph Fiennes, I eventually decided it wasn't going to get any more understandable and moved on.
