Aw! *prances about gleefully* This is fantastic, Wanderer! Exactly what I wanted and more! ^_^ Heheheee. I just keep on smiling; I can't seem to remove the expression from my face. *more happy flails*

I love the cheating comments, what with Bob's insisting he can't possibly do so, then Harry countering with the reasurance that he's sure Bob could find a way if he wanted to, and right on to Bob's quiet contentment at Harry thinking/realizing such a thing (because it shows that Harry thinks of Bob as capable, no matter the ghost's state of corporeality).

Ah, and I love that, throughout the entire fic, there is an obvious sense of fondness, yet most of the things they say to each other are taunting remarks. Hee. They're acting just like little kids. They poke and prod, each testing the limits of the other, but in the end it's all in good fun. =)

"Stop that tapping, you'll set something on fire."

*laughs* Oh, the hazards of being a wizard! No such thing as a casual sweep of the hand. *grin* I like about this how you seem to be making a throw-back to Morgan's mocking Harry in "Things That Go Bump." First the fire comment, and then later Harry trying to tell Bob that things aren't always boring in his life by explaining that "sometimes things blow up."

I'd broken him out of his servant complex with a strict regiment of teasing and glares...I didn't need a servant, I needed a friend."

Heeeeeee. ^____^ I can totally picture Harry glaring at Bob for trying way too hard to be obedient to every little thing Harry says. It's kind of like: "Stop it. You're better than that, and you're freaking me out." Haha. *hugs self out of sheer AAAAWW!!!-ness*

I counted six smiles. Two for Harry, four for Bob, and happiness all around. And I'd only asked for one! Wow, you are just wonderful, you know that? =D This was ever so delightful. From the way Harry moved Bob's chesspieces across the board, to Bob's clearly having given up all hope of getting Harry to memorize the technical terms in chess, to Harry's preference for Spiderman over strategic pursuits, and to Bob's up-to-something grin. It's all so wonderful!

Thank you ever so much for writing this. I'm really glad I knew that one song. ^__^
