[livejournal.com profile] donutsweeper gave me The Dresden Files (bookverse)

The first character I fell in love with: Harry, from the first page. I was already in love with him from the show, but I loved his slightly Archie Goodwin-esque narration so much more.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Murphy. I didn't like her at all in the first few books, but she was playing an adversarial/sceptic role. Once she started to become Harry's friend, I started to like her and now I think she's pretty kickass.

The character everyone else loves that I don't: Um, I dunno. I've never been able to warm-up to Morgan. I know he's not exactly an 'everyone loves' character, but there are a few die-hards out there and I don't get it.

The character I love that everyone else hates: Susan, maybe? I don't think there's a lot of hate for her, but there is definitely a more Murphy/Harry love than a Susan/Harry love. I disagree.

The character I used to love but don't any longer: Thomas. I understand his motivation and his 'curse' and all that, but his angst can take a holiday as far as I'm concerned.

The character I would shag anytime: Ramirez. Full stop.

The character I'd slap: Morgan. Full stop.

A pairing that I love: Susan/Harry. They're awesome together.

A pairing that I hate: Harry/Thomas. It's squicky and yucky.

Favourite character: Harry. Maybe Ramirez. I would read a book about Ramirez.

My five favourite characters: Harry, Ramirez, Mouse, Mister, Michael

My five least favourite characters: Thomas, Morgan, Bob, Charity, Elaine

My deep, dark fandom secret: I think I will always like the TV versions of the characters more than the originals.

Yeah, I'd slap book!Morgan too. A shame really since I kind of love TV!Morgan.

Fandom me!

I enjoy tv!Morgan. I think they did a good job of making him menacing, but not cartoonishly so.

I give you Being Human.
