awanderingbard: (Sherlock: Lestrade shades)

More problems that aren't important...

I've lost my Lestrade. He's coming out all John. Which is weird, because for the longest time I couldn't write John. Maybe it's because Lestrade is essentially being John in the stories I'm trying to write? Or maybe they have similar sarcastic personalities?

If you see him, could you send him home?

Also, every time I try to use 'fag' for cigarette in the British way, I feel like a dad who's trying to be cool by using the word 'bitchin'' or something. Like someone British person is going to point at it and go 'ha, look at that Canadian girl pretending she's British!'.

If I see your Lestrade, I'll send him back to you . . . after we have a nice dinner together. Hope you don't mind. ;-)

Maybe he'll be more cooperative if he's fed...Just have him home at a decent hour.

I'll keep my eyes open for your Lestrade. And give him a sharp talking to for running away.

AH hahaha!!

I think I found him halfway through the story, but I can't seem to un-John him in the first half. I may need to spend some time listening to Rupert Graves speak. Not exactly a hardship. :-) At least Sherlock's behaving himself for once.

I suddenly have this image of Lestrade throwing a tantrum being all, "Why does Sherlock get to be the ONLY one who misbehaves? Sod this!" while Sherlock obediently plays with his toy blocks, giving Lestrade a side stare.

Bwa! I can just picture Sherlock building realistic castles with flying buttresses and crenellations and John very, very carefully making a straight tower while Lestrade throws a strop in the corner because no one pays attention to him.

Meanwhile Moriarty is building a series of guillotines and iron maidens to use to torture some dolls.

And Molly is trying to help Sherlock, who is entirely unaware that she's passing him the blocks. And Irene is holding a crucial block hostage until Mycroft gives her a juice box.

And Stamford is eagerly asking John if he wants to play on the swings during recess and has he checked out the latest trading cards?

This should be a series of drawings or something.

Aww, Stamford! ^_^

And Sally and Anderson are in the corner whispering. And Dimmock is trying very hard to build Lestrade's tower while he's sulking, but Sherlock just keeps telling him he's doing it wrong.

My inability to draw has been my life long sorrow.

And Mrs. Hudson asks if everyone has completed their lessons yet and tuts about how she's not the babysitter before handing out cookies and juice boxes.
