If he's not genuine, he's fucking good at faking it.

If he's faking on this level then he'd have to be a sociopath because that would be some scary-levels of convincing.

All my life I've thought I was completely alone in my weirdness, and it turns out that I was just isolated in it.

As much as people might bitch about the Internet, I do think creating a sense of connectedness is something the Internet has helped where you realize there are others out there with your sensibilities. Like writing fanfic for instance. I thought I was the only soul who did this when I was younger and then realized fanfic made up 50% of the Internet.
