I don't know if this gets addressed in the new Cap movie, but I wonder if Steve ever uses completely the wrong word for something, like something that was acceptable in his day but is totally offensive now.

No, it doesn't get addressed but it's a great fic idea! Actually, in Cap 2, if it wasn't for the fact that others are talking about Steve being a man out of his time, I really wouldn't guess he's from the 40s based on his behavior or language.

Also, I want to write a story about Steve knitting, because I bet he learned to knit before the serum to help the war effort out because he couldn't fight, but he could knit socks for the soldiers.
