I wonder how long it's prudent to search for a show airing in an 8PM timeslot on a weeknight on American television in 1978 before it's time to go 'is anyone really going to care if this is accurate?' and move on?

It's the littlest details that halt writing completely. I need this for one line that is basically a joke, and I spent at least half an hour trying to find a show.

It would have been faster if I'd thought to Google 1978 tv schedule sooner. I just didn't think that was something anyone would bother to record anywhere. Thank heavens for the Internet!
