Comment with what you believe I should write next. A drabble? A oneshot? An epic? The next chapter of a WIP from ages ago? Want to see me write in an old tried and true fandom or dip my toe into a different fandom I've praised but have yet to fic? Specific character? Specific genre? Give me your suggestions and poke my Muse.

Give me a fandom I'm in, a character or pairing (or threesome/whatever), and a prompt (word, image, phrase, poem, reference, whatever) and I'll give you something creative made of words. (Meta? A line of fic? A paragraph? A drabble? A ficlet? A full story? We'll see.)

For the second: Dresden, Harry/Murphy, sportsmanship

Take Me Out
"You're sure you can do this?" Murphy asks me, for the fifteenth time. I've been keeping count since the fourth time.
"Yes, Murphy, I'm sure I can do this," I say.
She doesn't look convinced. I don't blame her. I don't exactly look the baseball type. I'm too tall, too gangly and too nonathletic. But the 27th District Police Baseball Team is missing a player due to illness and I'm only person available to pinch hit.
"It's just, it's important," she says. "This is a big game. It's a matter of pride. They beat us last time. With a Mountie. A Mountie!"
"Is that legal?" I ask. "Bringing in the Canadians?"
"He works with a detective in the 26th," she says. "And it gives me grounds to bring you in."
"You're bringing in the wizards," I say.
She nods. "Yep."
"That's probably a mistake," I say.
She nods. "I know."
Despite the blond-haired detective flirting mercilessly with Murphy every time she's up to bat (or not up to bat), she's scored most of the runs and pitched several strike outs. By the middle of the seventh (and agreed last) inning, we're tied with the 26th. Two outs, and all bases loaded. Guess who's up to bat?
I haven't done bad so far. No home runs and one strike out, but not bad. The Mountie is pitching and he's good. He calls a very polite and cheerful 'good luck' to me as I step up to bat, which makes the blond detective playing short stop yell at him. Kirmani on first base tells them both to shut up and calls out what is a fairly friendly 'c'mon Dresden, don't suck' to me.
Don't suck. No problem.
The first pitch is called as a ball. The second I swing and miss. Third I don't swing, but it's called strike. Fourth, I make a solid connection with the ball and it flies neatly up and over the batting cage. Foul ball. Fifth is another ball and finally, sixth and I get a nice 'thwack' noise and the ball goes flying over toward centre field.
I make it to second base before the ball is picked up and tossed infield. No home run, no grand slam, but enough to win. Enough to make Murphy do a very adorable happy dance and throw her arms around my neck in celebration. The blond detective scowls at me, but manages to offer a 'good game' when we shake hands.
I have pledges of free beer from 27th District cops who usually hate my guts, Bob owes me twenty metaphorical bucks for not blowing the game and Murphy is beaming at me.
Yeah, good game pretty much sums it up.

options:
* Tony Stark, Ancient Mai, and Cal Lightman in a room.
* "Dresden," Morgan wanted to know, "why was Ancient Mai kissing you?"
* the TARDIS runs out of gas in the Lightman Group building.

Lip Service
I couldn't decide which was worse - passing out with Ancient Mai's tongue down my throat or waking up to Morgan's face far too close for comfort.
"Oh," Morgan said. "You're alive."
"No, I'm pretty sure this is Hell," was my pithy comeback. Or it would have been, had my vocal chords cooperated. Instead, my pithy comeback was "errrrggg." I managed to sit up and swallowed a few times, trying to locate all the pieces of my mouth and get them into working order again. Once I was sure they were, I pointed to Morgan and pronounced clearly, "screw you. You left me here with that thing, you bastard."
"I had to get Her Highness to safety," he said, unfazed. "And you were far less important than her."
I made a face, but couldn't really argue with the logic. "Is she safe?"
"Yes," he said. "She is with the others. I came back expecting to find you dead."
"Sorry," I said. "I just keep disappointing you on that. One day I'm sure I'll get it right."
He may have cracked a bit of a smile. "Dresden," he said, after a moment, "why was Ancient Mai kissing you?"
"Because my day was apparently not bad enough already?" I said, with a shudder. He looked at me, expectantly. I half wanted to just leave him hanging, but I also felt the need to clarify, lest he get the wrong impression. "I swallowed some of the poison from that thing. Mai...sucked it out, I think. She did this thing with her tongue...man, I really need mouthwash."
"No, I figured out what she was doing," he said. "I just can't figure out why."
"Oh, why save me, you mean?" I said. "Yeah. Who knows? You'll have to ask her."
We both knew that wasn't going to happen. Morgan stood up and I staggered up after him.
"You won't compromise us, will you?" he asked me.
"I'm fine, thanks," I said.
He nodded and we walked towards the exit of the building.
"But," I said. "I really need a breath mint."

For the second: I am in love with Bob/Fay as grandfather-teacher/granddaughter-student relationship (since "Something Indescribable" I am just wanting to see more how that something happens in every life, an afternoon after school perhaps?)!
