It's funny, because my mum took us to see it thinking I would like it because I liked music so much and my brother really didn't want to go, but then it he loved it and I was terrified. But he was eight and I was four and I had always had trouble distinguishing between pretend and reality and it just wasn't the best choice.

I don't think Fantasia was ever meant as a 'children's movie', I think that it was meant for adults to enjoy and to show off the new sound technology they had developed, but because it's Disney, parents assumed it was kid friendly.
