Characters: Edwin Jarvis, Howard Stark, Peggy Carter, Daniel Sousa, Ana Jarvis, some OCs, daemons
Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: swearing, body swapping, later very brief references to the Holocaust
Spoilers: None, really
Pairings: Ana/Jarvis, Peggy/Sousa
Word Count 4,504 (this part)
Summary: A forgotten artifact of seemingly Norse origin causes some unexpected side effects when Howard gets it working again. Namely, him and his butler swapping bodies. Which is rather inconvenient, considering Howard's supposed to be negotiating with the ambassador of Symkaria tomorrow.
Author's notes: Last chapter! Thanks for reading!

Howard mentions Dr. Erskine's daemon, Ruya in this chapter. She was a brown rat. I don't think I've ever mentioned my choice for him anywhere before.

For reference: Haddie (A Welsh Springer Spaniel), Dejeni (a raccoon), Takeo (a spotted hyena), Hesper (a Chinese Oak Silkmoth)

Author's notes: Unrelated to the story, but I've changed the font to be more comfortable to read on on my journal. Also the smart quotes in the old font were ugly, and I couldn't take them any more.

Author's notes: [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble and I had a conversation, and, is wont to happen, now there is a fic as a result. I originally started this as a fun brain break from a really long fic I was writing, thinking it would be short and silly. And I actually wrote something like five chapters worth of fic, instead. Oops.

This is set circa 1949(?). POVs alternate between Jarvis, Howard, and Peggy. Each character decided on their own terminology about how to refer to the swapped people and daemons, and I hope it's clear where it should be and confusing where it should be. It's hard to write visual gags in a non-visual format. I have the whole thing almost written, but I haven't quite decided on how to split up in the chapters yet, so there will be at least four, possibly five.

I haven't seen Civil War, and won't until it comes out on home video, so I will probably be playing in this end of the canon until such a time as I can get caught up.

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble for brainstorming with me. You're a terrible person and I love you! Takeo and Dejeni are also her creations, so thank you for letting me play with them.

For reference: Haddie (A Welsh Springer Spaniel), Dejeni (a raccoon), Takeo (a spotted hyena), and Eitana (an aardwolf).

Title: Bad Habits
Characters: Ana Jarvis, Edwin Jarvis, Peggy Carter, Daniel Sousa, daemons
Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: someone who has been drugged
Spoilers: Most of the first four episodes of Season Two of Agent Carter
Pairings: Jarvis/Ana
Word Count 3,656
Summary: Ana has a husband with a very bad habit of hurting himself and committing felonies.
Author's notes: This is a short(ish) missing scene sort of thing from Episode Four, when Jarvis is drugged by the tranquillizer dart. I wanted to do something with Ana caring for him, and it ended up being a silly bit of fluff and a chance to explore their relationship dynamics. Also, there are daemons, because that's how it arrived in my head.

For the record, I assume Ana and Hesper probably speak to each other in Hungarian, but for obvious reasons, I've had them use English here, except for a few, appropriate places.

Peggy Carter's daemon, Takeo, was created by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble, with whom I share the MCU daemons. Thanks to her!

For reference: Hesperos ["Hesper/Hesci"] (a Chinese Oath Silk Moth), Haddie (a Welsh Springer spaniel), Takeo (a Spotted Hyena), and Eitana (an aardwolf).

awanderingbard: (MCU: Tony Stark is awesome)
Title: Scar Tissue
Characters: Tony, Bruce, Natasha, Steve, Pepper, Fury, J.A.R.V.I.S, daemons
Rating: PG-13
Warnings/Triggers: swearing, some light injuries, mentions of surgery
Spoilers: IM3, a few references to Ultron, but set before it and mostly character beats
Pairings: Tony/Pepper, hints of Bruce/Natasha flirtation
Word Count 7,868
Summary: Tony is recovering from surgery, Natasha is recovering from a concussion, and Bruce is still learning how to be at ease in his new home. But people have scars, and that's okay.
Author's notes: I have now seen Ultron, and am using this new found canon knowledge to...write AUs. But canonish AUs! I actually started this sometime around March, I think, but it got put aside, and then I picked it up again and have used new character stuff to my advantage.

Medical stuff is accurate as much as it can be when talking about a surgery to remove a thing that doesn't exist. I've kind of gone with how I think it might have worked. Natasha's concussion has been exaggerated for drama purposes, a little.

Set post IM3, pre Cap 2, and continues in the series of 'Tony and Mim Build Apartments for the Avengers' stories, which include "Baby Steps", "One Step Back", and "Put it on the List". This story stands independent of those, and can be followed without having read them.

For reference: Demira ("Mim") (a common tailorbird), Nemi (a qinling panda), Altan (a rainbow boa), Lev (a veiled chameleon), Issie (a teddy roosevelt terrier), and Chariovalda (a black jaguar).

Knowledge of His Dark Materials is not required. All that's necessary to know is that, in this world, humans' souls live outside of their bodies in the form of animals. There's an excellent primer here.

Spoilers: Generalized for the Stark family's backstory in the MCU
Pairings: Jarvis/Anna, Howard/Maria, Peggy/Her Husband
Word Count 6,751
Summary: A factory accident, a medical conference, and an 'indisposed' nanny adds child-minding to Jarvis' list of professions for the day. Thankfully, he gets a little help here and there.

Pairings: Jarvis/Anna, Howard/Maria, Peggy/Her Husband
Word Count 5, 753
Summary: A factory accident, a medical conference, and an 'indisposed' nanny adds child-minding to Jarvis' list of professions for the day as Master Tony is placed in his care. Thankfully, he gets a little help here and there.
Author's notes: This is long. Everything I write lately is long. I'm sorry everything is so long. It's one story, but it's had to be split in two due to length.

Set in December of 1972 (I started it so long ago, I can't remember why I was that specific, but I was, apparently). Tony is about two-and-a-half.

Knowledge of His Dark Materials is not required. All that's necessary to know is that, in this world, humans' souls live outside of their bodies in the form of animals. There's an excellent primer here.

The characters of Dejeni, Takeo, and Tomor (mentioned but not appearing) belong to [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble. Our custody arrangement allows for the borrowing of them.

Characters: Mrs Hudson, John, Jasmine (OC), dæmons
Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: some mild sexual content (discussion of romance novels), depression, wounds
Spoilers: References to all three Series.
Pairings: none
Word Count 3,255
Summary: Mrs Hudson finally makes it into the hospital to visit John, just in time to provide a little bit of comfort.
Author's notes: Fourth part of the Visit Series following after Sherlock, Molly, and Lestrade's visits.

The 'music' Jasmine plays for John is this sort of thing. Music with binaural beats and a certain number of hertz is believed to help with pain relief.

Pairings: Howard/Maria
Word Count 7,692
Summary: Tony runs away from school, leading Howard to realize just how out of touch he is with his son.
Author's notes: This is part two, part one is here.

Brief note, because I realize I never made this clear anywhere, Haddie's full name is 'Hendrina', but she doesn't get called that, ever. Except by Jarvis, at the end of this fic, which I realize is a bit out of nowhere, but he decided to do it and I said he could.

Pairings: Howard/Maria
Word Count 6,177
Summary: Tony runs away from school, leading Howard to realize just how out of touch he is with his son.
Author's notes: As always seems to be the case, this stemmed from conversations with [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble, because she brings all the plot bunnies to my door, apparently. A big thanks to her for nattering with me and allowing me the borrowing of Dejeni and some of her headcanon.

This is a very long story, for which I apologize. I didn't worry too much about keeping the POV switches of equal length or number, and Jarvis decided he'd step in for a random part at the end, so apologies for the sort of odd narration style, too. I've split it into two parts, but both parts are still long.

It's set in 1978. Tony is 8 years-old, and Howard around 58 years-old, I'm guessing, and Jarvis probably around 60? The MCU dates are very flimsy.

For reference: Dejeni (A raccoon), Haddie, and Kinga (a maned wolf). Demira is unsettled, and so changes form several times, but her mentioned favourites are hummingbird, otter and platypus.

Knowledge of His Dark Materials is not required. All that's necessary to know is that, in this world, humans' souls live outside of their bodies in the form of animals. There's an excellent primer here.

Word Count 2, 690
Summary: Molly brings a bit of gossip to John in hospital and helps him take a walk, while Sherlock acts a little more like himself.

Word Count 2, 565
Summary: As John and Subira do their physio to aid recovery from John's gunshot wound, Sherlock and Tzophiya drop in to be semi-comforting.
Author's notes: Follows directly after Vigil.

This is tentatively part one of a short series of oneshots of John's recovery in hospital as his friends visit and help him recover. I have a few others mapped out, so we'll see how it goes. It also stands on it's own, so there won't be any cliffhangers either way.

Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: swearing, vague angst here and there

Pairings: very light reference to Tony/Pepper, implications of past Steve/Peggy
Word Count 5,609
Summary: Issie ensures Steve lightens up a little during a visit to Stark tower, and Steve gets some new things added to his To-Do List, and experiences some things that weren't even on it to start with.
Author's notes: Just some Steve and Tony hanging out fic, not a lot going on. I'm just working on my dynamics. Companion to and follows Baby Steps.

Set Pre-Cap 2, and probably post IM3 (it's next on my Things to Watch Now That Your Brain Isn't Sore).

For reference: Demira (A common tailorbird) and Issie (a Teddy Roosevelt terrier).

There are a few references to Howard Stark and Peggy Carter's dæmons, both of which were created by [livejournal.com profile] joonscribble. Characters: Q, Efimia, Sherlock, Tzophiya, misc background people and daemons
Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: references to drug use and addiction
Spoilers:none
Pairings: none
Word Count 3,767
Summary: Trevelyan gets a break from preparing for his thesis defense by the rather unusual phenomenon of his brother wanting to celebrate his birthday.
Author's notes: I started this to get an idea of how Efi moved and spoke for a different fic, and it turned into an actual fic, so here we are. Makes references to a character from Inspector Lewis, but no knowledge is required, and technically the references are so vague, you could make him a separate, unrelated character easily. But still, that technically makes this a triple crossover daemon au of an au. Take that, space time continuum! This, if it were part of the main Trio verse, would take place about 6-7 months post-"Big Brother Instincts". Trevelyan would just be twenty-four, and Sherlock around twenty-seven. Also makes some references to the canon story 'The Adventure of the Gloria Scott'.

Knowledge of His Dark Materials is not required. All that's necessary to know is that, in this world, humans' souls live outside of their bodies in the form of animals. There's an excellent primer here.

For reference: Efimia (a degu), Tzophiya (a grey lourie), Suman (a Clark's Nutcracker), and Ismini (a mountain weasel).

Characters: Tony, Bruce, daemons
Rating: PG
Warnings/Triggers: swearing and coarse language, a touch of angst on Bruce's side
Spoilers: generalized for The Avengers
Pairings: very light reference to Tony/Pepper
Word Count 2,750
Summary: Bruce and Nemi come to play at Stark Tower, and Tony and Mim make sure they feel welcome.
Author's notes: Finally something productive ('productive') comes from all my daemon headcanon. Just some Science Bros friendship fluff.

There is some ambiguity in the HDM verse about whether daemons speak to one another, and not just their humans. I'm exploiting the ambiguity and saying in this 'verse they do.

For reference: Demira (A common tailorbird) and Nemi (a qinling panda)

Takes place post-Avengers, and possibly pre-IM3, but since I haven't seen that yet, I can't be sure. Also, because I haven't seen it yet, or Cap 2, I apologize for any inadvertent conflicts with canon.

Spoilers:none
Pairings: none
Word Count 3,767
Summary: Sherlock waits for John to live or die, and learns what it's like to be the one waiting instead of the one being waited for.
Author's notes: Sorry about the flurry of daemons stuff of late, I sometimes get in a daemonic mood. I started writing this before Series Three, and so I'm just going to say it's alternate to that, as the stories in this verse are already out of synch with the regular canon. Follows and makes references to Clouds and Ashes.
