Couldn't it just be that she was clever enough to come up with her own escape, fooling Mycroft's keen eyes and later sending a text to Sherlock letting him know she had indeed gotten away?
Yes, that would have been much, much better. I actually find it difficult to believe that she couldn't have done it on her own, considering how she behaved the entire rest of the episode. You can't tell me she couldn't figure out how to overpower the guards or talk her way out of the situation without Sherlock's help. Bah!
I forgot to mention how much this amused me. We also got a glimpse of how Sherlock speaks to small children. No shocker there.
It convinced me that the only way I'm going to get Sherlock's voice down is by having him interacting with a small child. It's my go-to ploy. I just love that he even let them into the flat, as though they might have a serious crime for him to investigate. Unless John let them in and convinced Sherlock to humour them. Either way, it was awesome.
Same floor as where the kitchen and sitting room is, I believe, yes.
Yes, in my head that's what I meant but my fingers apparently disagreed. I was thinking of it as 'not the floor where John sleeps'. Though I can't figure out where Sherlock's room has space to be on the second floor. Maybe 221b is a TARDIS?
