Brilliant! I don't imagine Sherlock gets drunk much at all (and now I kind of want a sequel about the coup in a small African nation). I've seen various stories with a drunk Sherlock, but most don't really seem true to the character.
Yours does. He blurts out whatever he's thinking very much as he does when he's sober! John's clothes are "ridiculous," but he does have "skills," and he's one of the two most important people in Sherlock's life (not counting Mycroft, of course, because Mycroft doesn't count). John's mixture of concern and amusement is also right on target. And Lestrade! Hee!
