Ray Kowalski's soul looks like a police badge. It's slightly dinged, possibly from bullets, and scratched in places, but otherwise very well-polished and shiny. The name at the bottom has been burned away, but you can still make out 'Stanley Kowalski' underneath the newer 'Ray Vecchio' written there. If you look into the badge, you can see different reflections of various aspects in Ray's life. A flash of red serge and wolf fur. Two people dancing. Bullets being fired. Cars being driven in insane ways. A UFO. Blonde hair that matches Stella's. The side of a black GTO. Home cooked food. Overlayed over all these images, very hard to see, is a reflection of Ray himself, or rather Stanley. He looks like Ray, but less sure of himself and nerdier and not as handsome.
