I had something like that a little while ago. I thought, 'oh, I'll show it to my doctor next time I go in for prescription renewal' and, Canadian healthcare being what it is, by the time I got an appointment, it had already drained itself. Universal healthcare: making you make yourself healthy before we can even examine you.
I figure that Sherlock would be really, really angry if he couldn't figure something out. I picture him as the sort of person who sits with a rubic's cube for days on end because he will solve it, and just can't let it go until he knows the answer.
