I had to have a root canal done a little while back, a surprise one because the original didn't go deep enough to get all the gunk out. Thankfully the nerve was dead, but he had to refreeze me halfway through. It was not fun.
He's getting better. He's a young guy, taking over from the dentist I've had since I was a kid. He just needed some experience, I think. He also had a very sick baby for awhile, so I think he was stressed. And our old dentist still works some days, so it's worth staying there for now. But yeah, we were looking for other options for a while there.
