Shortly after Skyfall came out, there was an article that talked about how the latest Q was a sign that geeks were becoming incredibly cool and fashionable. Q would probably be appalled.

It would be during these "We will kill you unless you hack into the system for us!" moments with villains that Q would be grateful his entire childhood was basically one long game of whether or not Sherlock would kill him in the name of science. Nothing fazes him now.
