First of all, I'd like to apologise for not reading your Skyfall verse. I'm sure it's great, but I don't really read crossovers or AUs.

Also, I still haven't read the rest of the Abby verse, but reading this here made me all the more determined to discover the rest of this once I've got a bit of time on my hands.

I really don't think that stories need to have a "point" when they're so thoroughly enjoyable. I was smiling and laughing all the way through. Yes, it was fluffy, but it was really well done all the same.

Once again, I like your Sherlock-Molly dynamics! How they sit next to each other, trying not to touch, and how Sherlock says: “You look older.” - it's really brilliant.

Other things I liked:

“Christ, Sherlock, the blackmail payment isn't due until next week.”
Your Sarah is awesome!

“You managed to procreate, I assume you know what body parts she possesses.”
Oh Sherlock, aren't you sweet! :)

Present opening was a good chance to practice deductions. Judging from the size and expense of the presents from Abby's maternal grandparents, it was obvious they were divorced and trying to outdo each other.
Yes, I can really see Sherlock sitting there, deducing everything about the givers.

Everyone started doing that thing that Sherlock hated at social gatherings, where they all spoke to each other, but not as a group. They spoke over and under each other in pairs, or trios, breaking off and rearranging into new pairs and trios, the topics switching and weaving in and out like some sort of off-key symphony. Sherlock cared very little about what was being said, but he couldn't turn off his mind and there were too many signals and shifts in body language, so that it all became too much of a cacophony in his head and he felt twitchy and awkward.
That's a very good description and so true, I think!

Thank you, once again, for writing such lovely things and don't doubt yourself anymore!
