Ahh! So much love for your Morgan! He's a great blend of being a By the Rules Enforcer who's strict and unyielding. But at the same time, you can tell he's not cruel or rule-bound to the point of doing something stupid. I love that he admitted that subtle spell casting wasn't his forte either. It makes me have that much more respect for him.
And Jake. I really like this original character you've created. From his preoccupation with his hair despite being dead to him still thinking like a cop the minute he sees Morgan with a weapon.
I also didn't get a chance to say in the other reviews, but I also really love how you pepper your story with characters from different ethnicities. (ie. Jade, Dr. Forrester's girlfriend) It's a very subtle, small detail, but it really enriches the story, bringing it to life. Because in the real world, you'd meet people off all different backgrounds everyday and there's a great shot of relevance in your fic by it not being completely populated by pretty white people ala some show on the WB. Or...CW. Whatever, doesn't matter.

In conclusion: your writing rocks.
