I wasn't tagged, does that make me a meme crasher?

I got it from [livejournal.com profile] featherjean.

1. I talk to myself, out loud, constantly. Sometimes I try out dialogue for characters and sometimes I act out scenes by myself and sometimes I put on fake accents to do it. According to comments on one of [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's blog entries, I am not the only one to do this, nor am I the only one who sometimes pretends to be interviewed. It's always best to be practice, you never know when you might be invited on Letterman or something. ;-)

2. When I can't sleep, I recite song lyrics to myself. Meadowlark from The Baker's Wife is my favourite, because it's really long and pretty.

3. I can't stand the sound of people chewing, especially on crunchy foods. One time, when I was really, really tired, my dad was eating crackers on the couch and it annoyed me so much I started to cry.

4. I read in the bathtub. That is generally the only place I read nowadays, though I sometimes read on the porch swing if the weather is nice. My mum does it too. Books dropped in the bathtub can be salvaged, but they don't look very pretty.

5. I was terrified of thunderstorms for the longest time. In fact, this summer is really the first time I've been able to handle them in a reasonable fashion. I think it's the noise - I hate loud noises. I've found earplugs are good, or going to the basement and if it's happening in the night, you can turn on the light in your room and so you can't see the lightening to expect the thunder. I don't like fireworks either and haven't been to a fireworks thing since I was very little - where I spent the entire show hiding my face in my mum's chest.

6. I apparently do math in the opposite way to everyone else. In Grade 10, my awesome teacher said 'you know, I have no idea how you get the right answers, but keep doing it that way'. When I watch my mum play computer games that require an order of operations or a choice, I will always see the opposite way to doing it to what she does.

Tag to whomever would like to play.
