I think I wrote this story to give someone the opportunity to yell at Sherlock, to be honest. But I'm glad it worked for you. I debated for awhile about how close to the canon to make this verse, but since my Abby verse is increasingly not canonical, I figured I might as well try to keep one of them close to what's 'real'.
I also very much enjoyed the scene back at the office and all the Minions whose names Q doesn't bother to remember (if he's even allowed)
My headcanon is that Q only knows your name if you are very talented, and if he does, it's basically something to put on a CV. Otherwise, you can be expected to be referred to as 'hey, you', and have fingers clicked at you when he wants you to do something.
