My mom once suggested that I print out some of my fic so that she could read it. Um, maybe not: she has never seen any of the shows for which I've written. I was excited when she finally started watching Sherlock that maybe we could have a fandom in common—but she quit watching after "The Hounds of Baskerville." Why the frell did she quit after "Hounds"? She said she didn't like it very much.
Well, it's not as if she had a fannish personality anyway.
