I really enjoyed reading this. So lovely and such a quiet little moment between them (while counting ants of all things, hah, that is just so very Sherlock). I'm so glad S3 gave us them interacting a bit more, and I think you built up nicely on it. Their companionship and how they relate to each other. Lines like this one:
“Does it matter?” Sherlock asked. “Being alone? Does that matter to you?” “I thought so,” Molly said. “But...there are different types of being alone. You can be alone and not lonely.”
are touching and sweet and I can really imagine them having a conversation like this one.
