Hey, don't judge me! I needed to see if I had enough dialogue for Sarah to have put her tights on while they were talking, okay? I was just wondering if there was some special technique one could use to speed things up. I used to take a ton of dance lessons and it always took me ages to get into my tights, but I had a Home/Hospital Tutor who used to use the bathroom super fast while wearing tights, so I thought maybe there was a special method I was unaware of.

I'm not weird, I'm just a writer. :-D

Fanfic has been so useful in teaching me new vocabulary, particularly for medical terms (I learned "tachycardia" and "cyanosis" from you, I believe!), but I'm sure I'm also on government watchlists for some fanfic-related Google searches...

Oh, God yes! If they don't think I'm a serial killer drug addict terrorist by now...

Medical jargon is my favourite! I'm lucky enough to have a nurse right at hand when I'm writing, so I can ask really weird questions and she very patiently answers them for me. Both my parents are in the medical profession, so I think I grew up with it at the dinner table. I really enjoy hurt/comfort specifically because I like doing all the medical bits.

I did know what formalin is and was just checking that one, but the others were new to me!

Things Tay Googled First Before She Found the Right Terms For Those Things And Then Googled Again for More Thorough Answers:
- lazy eye
- axolotl (spelled wrong)
- Marilu Henner (because she remembered she had the condition she was trying to find the name for)
