Can daemons change after it settles? It makes sense that it can after a traumatic event....this just gives me fic ideas for a Winter Soldier DaemonsAU. Dammit! I haven't watched any Agents of SHIELD but based on the films, I can see Coulson's being perhaps a Rottweiler or a German Shepard: loyal, docile when at rest but vicious when needed.
I didn't make it very far into Agents either, but a dog makes sense for Coulson. Especially since they're 'servant' daemons, and Coulson is servant of justice. And maybe, his daemon wanted to be a little like Cap's daemon, too.
Mark Ruffalo already looks like a teddy bear of sorts so perhaps some sort of passive bear. Like a panda. They're herbivores. But it turns into a grizzly when he hulks out?
