I imagine Howard did that assuming they'd want to have a lot of sex with each other after reuniting, and what they actually ended up doing was being rather thrilled that they could just lie there and talk to each other without anything interfering with it.
I also have headcanon that Anna and Jarvis were married in a very small civil ceremony, but Howard bought a huge bouquet for Anna because girls need bouquets when they get married.
Jarvis tries to keep the noise level down so that Anna can sleep but she wakes up anyway and offers to make some coffee.
Hee! This sort of goes along with my own headcanon that Anna invites Howard for dinner at least once a month because she's worried he's lonely in the big house and thinks he should have a nice family meal. He also comes for Passover, and he has to do the Four Questions as the closest they've got to a child in attendance.
