I love that idea so much. Arthur would be so stoked that Gertie is doing something impossible, and Martin would be having a meltdown about it.
Martin would so not respond well. If the theoretical idea of otters in the cockpit bothers him, magic making Gertie's wings actually go up and down would give him an aneurysm.
I loved in Paddington when he's trying to use the escalator and goes and steals the dog, because that is exactly how a bear in the city would interpret that sign.
I wanted more scenes like this of Paddington taking directions literally.
