What they smell like: Mrs Hudson smells very strongly of what might called 'Bank of England' perfume. More specifically, Kasbah Nights, which is a spicy, oriental scent, with florals and powders to it, or Femme Rochas, which is more fruity and flowery. Sherlock sometimes likes to complain about the strength of her perfume, but Carwyn noted that he seemed very happy to smell it again when he came home after he was dead.
How they sleep: In her nightie, after a wee dram of scotch (shhh!), and on two pillows for her head. Carwyn sleeps next to her, in the crook of her arm, with his head tucked under his wing. Mrs Hudson is generally to bed late and up early, especially if her tenants are active.
What music they enjoy: Most people are surprised by the eclectic taste Mrs Hudson has. She and Carwyn listen to very modern music on the BBC, and can list any number of singers or rappers on cue. She's even helped John and Sherlock out, more than once. Honestly, boys, who doesn't know who McBusted are? One of them was on Strictly, you know.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: It depends on what she's up to that day. She might not bother to get dressed at all if she's just going to be wandering around the flat. If she's going out, she'll take about half an hour to shower and do her hair nicely. Carwyn preens his feathers while she's in the shower, and might take a little dunk in there to make sure he's looking fresh.
Their favourite thing to collect: Mrs Hudson has quite a collection of little china and porcelain figurines. She didn't mean to, really. It's just someone gave her one once, and then someone saw it and thought she must like them, and so then she had two, and more people saw those, and gave her more, and more people saw those, and now she has many. She sometimes thinks about downsizing, but Carwyn says that would be very rude.
Their family:
Mr Hudson (deceased, to very few people's sadness)
A sister, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A weird/obscure fear they have: Carwyn is quite sure that that skull Sherlock has will start talking one day. Mrs Hudson says he's read too many Gothic novels. She does, however, not really like to dust it very much.
A secret skill: She can cry on cue. Carwyn is also quite impressive at sneaking things out of people's possession, but he only ever uses it for good.
