Ancestry (and all similar companies) DNA is.. only vagely accurate. It's mainly an odds/numbers game. I do know of people who've had success finding relatives through it (usually of the 'our grandparents were siblings/first cousins variety), although unless both people already have done a decent amount of research it can be hard to confirm.
