#2 is SO true. I have unfortunately come across many of those fanfic posters who make me want to slap them upside the head with a bit of canon. (Or hit them with the cannon of canon?)

#5. I hadn't really thought about it, but you are so right. Too often women are the 'Damsel in Distress' or the "strong selfcentered bitch' with no middle ground. Murphy's strong, but will accept saving if she needs it, but won't be the weak link that makes others get into trouble to bail her out of trouble
