Oh yes, although I had no idea how many accents Paul has done in his career, or that his native one was so british.
When I hear Paul talk in his own accent, I always immediately go 'oh, he must be faking that', because his Chicagga one is so natural. I think, too, because his natural accent is so proper British, that if you were going to fake a British accent, it would be the first dialect you'd go for. If that makes sense. It always makes me smile when he mentions having a 'dodgey backy' in one interview, because that's such a British thing to say.
Too often women are the 'Damsel in Distress' or the "strong selfcentered bitch' with no middle ground.
Maybe it's because I have always had very strong women around in my life and I've never been put down because of my gender, but I always find excessively feminist women annoying. Characters like Mac on JAG, or Christine Lahti's character on Chicago Hope always make me roll my eyes and go 'for God's sake, no one is being sexist towards you!'. So, I like it when you can have a woman who is independent, but not viewing men as the 'oppressors'.
