A fairly boring episode up to the last ten minutes or so.

- I mentioned previously that Arthur needed a haircut. This Cathy Rigby thing he has now isn't much better.
- Colin must have been sick while filming this episode. His voice sounded soooo deeeep.
- If Morgana had enough time to recite that length of spell, she had enough time to kill Gwen. I'm just saying, ironic killing by your beloved is all well and good, but nothing gets the job done better than a good knife through the heart. This is why you aren't getting anything done, Morgana.
- I'm glad they made Mithian a worthy love interest. She's just not the right love interest. They could have made her foul and I'm pleased they didn't.
- CSI: Camelot amused me. Can we just get an episode where we follow Gaius around and watch him be grumpy all day?
- Seriously, Morgana, get your act together or get lost.

I really liked Mithian. She wasn't a simpering fool, she was strong and opinionated and stood up for herself, yet knew when to step aside for everyone's sake.

Morgana... is boring me to tears lately. Sneak into the castle and kill Arthur and then sit on the throne and use mercenaries you've hired to control the knights. BOOM. All done. You're queen. Congrats. You could have done that ages ago.

I don't understand how Aggravaine can't just kill Arthur in his sleep. If Morgana's going to take over anyway it's not like he'll have any consequences for it and I'm pretty sure he can frame someone else pretty easily. I don't fully understand his motives either. Ygraine died, yes, but Uther's dead now and it's not Camelot's fault. It's no one's fault. No one knew it was going to happen.

Aggravaine's motivation makes NO SENSE. I read somewhere where it was supposed to be that he was in love with Morgana and some deleted scenes really played to that, but even so... It still makes no sense. *sigh*

Morgana is way too preoccupied with wanting to be as evil as much as possible that she never actually gets around to doing the evil deeds. She's got the Achilles Heel that so many villains in the past have had: mainly she can't stop plotting to actually do something.

Yeah, I understand that obviously she can't succeed in anything she wants to do, but I would prefer if she were thwarted by the others do clever things to stop her rather than her own obsessive need to have the most convoluted plans, rather than just marching in and kicking ass.

It might help if she had any decent motive, too. This whole 'rightful ruler of Camelot' stuff is crap. There is no way she has any proper claim on the throne. I know she's crazy, but still. I'd respect her more if she just outright said 'I want to be queen for no good reason other than I want to be queen'.
