You got your angst in my crack!fic!

How am I managing to turn a crack story about talking mice into some sort of semi-serious, slightly angsty post-Reichenbach fic? God, you talking mice! Stop being adorably loyal and go back to being a really weird crossover idea!

Now I don't know if I need to start over or if I should just run with it. It's not THAT angsty. It's just...sort of sweeter than I expected? I should probably just let the characters do what they want. Things seem to work out for the best when I do.
