Dvd Commentary Meme

guardian_chaos and I were having an interesting chat about writing mechanics the other day, and it put me in mind of this meme. So I thought I'd bring it back.

Request any fic of mine and I will provide you with a commentary/annotations, like a DVD extra: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.

I have a pretty good memory for things, so feel free to request a story from way back if you are so inclined. At the very least I can probably explain why I chose to write certain things, if not precisely what I was thinking at the time.

My stories can be found via memories (may not be fully updated), tags, or the fic roundups. You can also find a convenient, but not complete, list here. I can't do a whole multi-chapter commentary, but if you want to request a certain chapter (or a couple of chapters), I'm down with that.

Would you mind doing "Cabin Fever" for Sherlock? I'd love to know more about how you came up with the idea of Sherlock putting drops in that make him have poor near vision; it's so memorable and wonderful.
